During December 2022, Pleyades Films provided production services for a Disney advertising spot produced by Plataforma.TV. Filming took place in the El Pedral Reserve, one of the most important Magellanic penguin reserves on the coast of the Golfo Nuevo, about 70 km away from the city of Puerto Madryn.
25 children from the Science Club of the City of Puerto Madryn participated in the spot, who for the first time were able to see a penguin colony such as El Pedral, and see the Magellanic penguin chicks feeding.
Pablo Borboroglu and Lujan Villabriga from GPS (Global Penguin Society) an NGO dedicated to the conservation and protection of penguins in the world also participated, who provided information on the state of conservation of the colony, its conservation achievements, and its threats in the future, as well as the educational program that they carry out.
